We also intend to provide the right caliber of staff to meet the needs of our service users.

Our Goals

Vivifica Healthcare Limited aims to work in partnership with the Council’s strategy and to be able to provide support to young people and adults who are experiencing multiple complex needs to include the misuse of both drugs and alcohol and mental health needs across all ages in the borough. We intend to provide supported living services to adults over the age of 18 within our borough, who require support to enable them to be able to live independently in the community. They may have a combination of one or more needs to include but not limited to mental health and drug and alcohol or substance misuse issues, or physical disability.

The views of the individuals who use our services, their families, friends and carers are extremely important to Vivifica Healthcare Limited. We want to work together with service users and their families to make sure that we are meeting individual needs and providing the service, care and support that they rightly expect and deserve. We believe that people should be at the centre of their own care and help shape the care and support that they need. We think it is your right to know what to expect and where to find more information if it’s needed.

What are we going to do?

We aim to work in partnership with the local authority and other health care professionals to reduce the harm related to the misuse of drugs and alcohol by prioritising evidence based, cost effective interventions in drugs and alcohol prevention, control and supporting people receiving treatment, for all people of all ages. Our strategy includes working in partnership to provide support with prevention and education; care and support; and supervision and empowerment.
Vivifica Healthcare Limited intends to work with private service users, Liverpool City Council and other professionals to manage the challenges that are presented within the community. We have decided that the following 3 priority outcomes can best describe what we want to achieve.
1. Supporting people to make a choice not to misuse drugs and/or alcohol.
2. Supporting people to get the right help with their drugs and/or alcohol misuse.
3. Providing support to young people and families that are affected by drugs and/or alcohol misuse.

How will we make this happen

At Vivifica Healthcare Limited we recognise that drugs and alcohol-related harms have the most detrimental effects on health and well-being, crime and disorder and interpersonal relationships. Vivifica Healthcare Limited will provide support to people to access where possible rehab services for drug and alcohol addictions. Rehab is designed to help addicts tackle their substance abuse problems in a safe and secure environment. Younger people may be more vulnerable to the risks associated with drugs and alcohol misuse, but less likely to access support services. Adults over 18 are increasingly at risk from health harms due to higher levels of regular drinking, often caused by loneliness. Vivifica Healthcare Limited intends to prioritise prevention of drugs and alcohol misuse by providing support to access services in the local community. Our highly skilled and trained workers will identify and work with our service users and their families who have substance misuse issues. We intend to work with young people to prioritise prevention of drugs and alcohol misuse by supporting young people to access the range of resources available in the region. This can include encouragement, education and support to attend appointments and to access services. To ensure that vulnerable children and families are supported and provided with appropriate care, adopting a whole-family approach as far as reasonably possible, whilst working in partnership with the local community teams. Our services are universal and will be available to all races and will be sensitive to the racial differences of each service user. We will work in partnership to provide bespoke early interventions to support young people, families with vulnerable young people, including looked after young people, who have emerging substance misuse issues.
